More Bdays!

Last Wednesday was my friend Jasmine's bday.....she's as old and wrinkly as me now! We were lucky enough to get to celebrate the big day with her early this past Sunday with a super fun BBQ/Pool Party. Her dad grilled the most amazing food I have ever tasted and her hubby stepped in as the ultimate bartender whipping up dangerously good margaritas! We laughed and played with kiddos and had a fabulous day. Here are some snaps shots we got of the ladies!

Orange Animal Print

My go to item in my closet for summer is always a maxi. All you have to do is throw it on and you instantly look dressy and polished. It takes less time then jeans and t-shirt but looks insanely fab! I am also totally crushing on all different shades of orange right now. It's fresh, warm, and makes that summer sun-kissed tan look even better. What's your favorite shade?

Girl's Night Out

Every once in awhile I am lucky enough to get to hang out with my girlies and celebrate one of us aging more and more gracefully {yeah right} and this time it was Sharlee's birthday! My amazing hubby had boy time with my angel and sent me pictures throughout the night so I didn't miss him too much. What do you get when you combine cute girls + wine + gossip + fashion? An absolutely fabulous evening out.

If you want insanely delicious bruschetta and hand picked wines from all over, check out Postino's. This is where were celebrated and we also frequent a lot for relaxing nights and Sunday Funday. It has an artsy vibe and the people watching is always top notch! Haha oh the things that make my day. If you haven't checked this gem out, get one it!

Healthier Spaghetti

Most people have tried the popular spaghetti squash as a healthier form of spaghetti but I found this fab little recipe on Pinterest and thought I would give it a try. I thought it was really good and since it's so healthy and fast I will definitely be making it again. My husband is a huge carb freak so he wasn't too thrilled with it but if your hubby's like veggies then give this recipe a shot for sure!

Spaghetti Slaw:

Ingredients:
1/4 C Water
1 bag of Broccoli Slaw
Pesto Sauce {In the original recipe it called for tomato sauce but I'm not a fan so I used this and I just eye ball it and taste to see what I like}

Instructions:
Bring a pot/skillet to medium-high heat on the stove. Add the slaw and 1/4 cup water. Stirring occasionally, cook until water has evaporated and slaw has softened slightly {about 5-8 minutes}. Then add the sauce of your choice and any other veggies you would possibly want to use.

Is that not the easiest recipe you have ever seen? 3 ingredients, 10 minutes, and a healthy dinner for your family! Seriously can't go wrong with this gem.

I also ended my healthy night with dessert......an insanely gorgeous and delish bowl of cherries! Eating healthy doesn't have to be boring or tasteless.

Stud Muffin

I am so excited for my first edition of Asher's wardrobe! I love how much style my little guy has and the fact that he wants to wear whatever momma thinks is fab. We all know I am obsessed with stripes and also love mixing patterns. This is one stylin' babe and I'm so happy to call him mine!!!

Add Some Sparkle

What woman doesn't want a little pep in her step? The best way to shake up your look is to add some glitter and glam. Anything rhinestoned instantly makes you feel girlie and dressed up. I love adding something extra with my shoes and these "GEMS" are no exception. Thankfully I have a fab mom who has great taste and who wears the same size as me in just about everything! Yay, I'm seriously so lucky. I borrowed some pieces from her insane closet for this look.

Military Green

I am seriously dying over military green right now. I know it's normally a winter color because it's dark but I love it all year round. My fav part of this outfit? The faux leather detail on the top and the accent of leopard print. This is one of my go to mommy outfits and is perfect for happy days with my little man Asher. Even when you want to dress casual, you don't have to look boring!

Park Casual

With the weather being so amazing these days, Asher and I tend to venture to the park very often. He is a total boy and loves all the climbing, swinging, running, and digging.
