Dress For Success!

Happy Wednesday everyone, I hope your week has been fabulous so far! Since my last post about wanting to become a fashion stylist, I have been hard at work reinventing myself and what I want out of life. As much as I love being a mommy that only has to work two days a week, I need more in life. I have decided to go back and finish my degree in Business Marketing. Well, Im not positive about which business major but for now that's the one! I went to college for a year and half before I decided to go to hair school and have always regretted not finishing. I just want that sense of accomplishment and something to fall back on if I were ever to get injured and not be able to do hair anymore. I have been thinking a lot about having a "professional" career and building a huge empire. For me, it's always go big or go home! Now that I have a new passion in life and game plan of exactly what I want, I need my wardrobe to reflect that. One of my favorite quotes for the workplace has always been, "don't dress for the job you have, dress for the job you want." Those are a few words of wisdom that really go a long way with me. So, with that said, I will be shopping for tons of pencil skirts from now on. They are perfection for a woman's body and are extremely sexy while being 100% professional. Throw on a tucked-in chiffon top with a curve hugging pencil skirt, top it off with some stilettos and you have a head turning look that everyone will love.
